The remains of the former castle have been integrated into the present-day hotel, which is why it exudes Austro-Hungarian elegance and luxury. The hotel’s unique interior features several types of rooms suited to couples, groups of people or families. Each room has either a balcony or a loggia, and a breath-taking view of the sea, Rovinj or the centuries-old parks. Katarina is located in the near vicinity of several different beaches, and offers a pool complex for your complete relaxation. Should you wish to stroll around Rovinj, you can take a free five-minute boat ride into town.
Choose one of the 110 rustic and tasteful rooms or 10 spacious suites located within the walls of a historic summer villa on a serene island. The ground-floor rooms let you step right out into the park or beach, and the exclusive top-floor suites offer spectacular views of the surrounding islands and Rovinj’s Old Town.

Natural rocky coves occupy the east side of the island, and a pebble beach with sun loungers and parasols is located just 50 metres from the hotel. There are the Gold, Silver and Bronze Cliffs on the west side of the island for cliff jumping enthusiasts.

On the main pier there is an Island Hotels Reception (working hours from 07:00 to 22:00 h). The staff from the Island hotels reception organizes shuttles to the main parking lot, which is free of charge, uncovered and guarded.
